About Chad Cossiboom

Leadership is personal work.

I help pastors, ministry leaders, and teams understand what is happening, make thoughtful decisions, and move forward with greater clarity.

Chad Cossiboom

I know what it is like to lead from inside the complexity.

Ministry leadership rarely gives you the luxury of dealing with one thing at a time. Decisions affect people. Team dynamics shape the work. Personal stress follows you into the room. Even good change can carry loss with it.

Ministry leadership is always about people. Decisions, structures, and strategies shape how people are cared for and how the mission moves forward.

That is part of what drew me to the name Evergreen. Evergreen trees stay rooted and alive even as the conditions around them change. I liked that picture for the kind of work I want to do with people and teams.

Leaders need somewhere they can speak plainly, sort through what is happening, and decide what comes next. That is what I want Evergreen to provide: thoughtful, confidential help that stays connected to real life and leads toward meaningful action.

How I work

Honest conversation. Clear thinking. Practical next steps.

We name what is real.

We start with what is actually happening, including the tensions, patterns, and questions that are easiest to avoid.

We look beneath it.

Good decisions require more than solving the visible problem. We pay attention to what is shaping you, the team, and the situation.

We decide what comes next.

Insight should lead somewhere. We identify priorities, make a plan, and define the next faithful step.

Beyond the work

Rooted in Birmingham, Alabama.

I’m a husband, dad, pastor, and leader. My wife, Holly, and I have four kids, which means life is full, loud, funny, and rarely as predictable as the calendar suggests.

For more than two decades, I’ve served as a pastor in the local church, caring for people and helping leaders and teams work through the practical realities of ministry. I care deeply about the church, the people who serve it, and the mission Jesus gave us.

Evergreen also gives me the opportunity to work with leaders and teams in other places, sometimes remotely and sometimes by traveling to meet them where they serve.
